Join Dallas Fly Fishers (DFF) for an introduction to fly fishing on Saturday, May 20 at Rosemeade Recreation Center (1334 E. Rosemeade Parkway). Learn to cast, tie basic fishing knots, tie flies and discuss their uses, review equipment, learn about aquatic ecosystems, safety, fishing, ethics, and regulations. This is a free class offered by DFF, including all equipment and materials. DFF has been an active club for over 30 years. Instructors are certified by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and the Federation of Fly Fishers. Participants receive a TPWD Basic Fly Fishing Certificate at the conclusion of the class. Participants must bring a hat, glasses, and lunch to eat on site.
