First Snow Flies in Ogden

It rained hard all night long last night and, during the early morning commute to work in Ogden, Utah, many drivers were a bit surprised to see snow mixed in with the rain on their windshields. The falling snow was visible in nearby mountains but this is the first sign of it on the valley floor, with Halloween still eight days away. Let’s hope all the little goblins and witches find a way to dress warmly next week.

It didn’t snow for very long and the snow that did fall melted immediately upon hitting any surface that had already been drenched with rain.

But– it definitely snowed. Winter is upon us.
