Find that ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’ at PSM Park; don’t miss The Long Run Band Sept. 16

The season may be coming to a close, but there is one more opportunity to “Take It Easy” and savor the sounds of summer at the Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks free concert series. The Long Run Band takes the stage Thursday, Sept. 16.

Hailed as Colorado’s tribute to The Eagles, The Long Run Band is a group of musicians dedicated to the faithful reproduction of music from one of America’s most iconic bands. Don’t miss chart-topping hits like “Hotel California,” “Love Will Keep Us Alive” and “New Kid in Town.”

Sponsored by the Colorado Parks and Trails Foundation, you’ll have “One of These Nights” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at The Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration is not required. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. So, come early and enjoy yard games, bouncy houses and fun for the entire family. Food trucks and beverage sales will be available. Or, pack a picnic. Please keep in mind, outside alcohol is not permitted.

Donations and proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation. The foundation is an organization independent from the Town that works to enhance Castle Rock’s parks, trails and recreational spaces. Learn more about the foundation at getoutdoorscastlerock.org.
