In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the library presents a screening of The Dark Horse, the story of a brilliant New Zealand chess player living with severe bipolar disorder. The film will be followed by a short discussion and light refreshments, and gift cards will be raffled off for attendees. This movie is co-sponsored by the San Mateo Public Library and the Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities, with funding support from the San Mateo County Office of Diversity and Equity.
