Detectives arrested a suspect yesterday for a homicide that occurred in Madison Valley in 2015.
On May 2nd, 2015, just before 11:00 am, patrol officers responded to a report of an unresponsive woman at a residence in the 2800 block of East Denny Way. Upon arrival, officers saw the 29-year-old woman lying on the floor. Seattle Fire medics attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful and the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Homicide and CSI detectives responded to the location and began their investigation into the suspicious death.
Detectives have been working closely with the King County Prosecutor’s Office and yesterday were able to interview the 47-year-old male suspect. Following the interview, the suspect was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of murder.
