Dallas, TX – Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano presents Dallas Animal Services’ (DAS) first “PURRsday at Kitty Hall” event in the Dallas City Hall lobby on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. DAS will set up 10 – 15 kennels of adoptable cats and kittens in the lobby for citizens to visit, play with, and adopt. Additionally, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Medrano and DAS director, Ed Jamison, will announce DAS’ newest lifesaving initiative.

If a citizen adopts an animal at the event, they can take the animal home right away or DAS will transport the animal back to the shelter for the adopter to pick at a more convenient time.
