Dangerous heat closes Log Cabin Village temporarily

How did the pioneers brave this kind of heat?

Fort Worth’s Log Cabin Village will be closing temporarily. The buildings there — owing to historical accuracy — are not air-conditioned and the heat forecast for this week could be oppressive and dangerous to visitors.

The village will close at 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday before temperatures get too high. The attraction will remain closed Saturday and Sunday.
