Dallas Public Library to present “Waggin’ Tales” Oct. 20 & Nov. 17

What: The Dallas Public Library will present “Waggin’ Tales,” a story hour for dogs (and their owners) on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Main Street Garden Park and Saturday, Nov. 17 at Deep Ellum Bark Park.

“We want to reach out to downtown residents who have dogs, but may not visit the library,” said Dallas Public Library Associate Vanessa Conley. “Waggin’ Tales will allow us to interact with these residents during a fun program they can enjoy with their dogs,” she said.

Representatives from Dallas Animal Services and the SPCA will also be at both events, providing information about pet services and adoption.

Where: Main Street Garden Park, 1902 Main St., and the Deep Ellum Dog Park, 2530 Commerce St.

When: – 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 – Main Street Garden
– 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 – Deep Ellum Bark Park
