If you’re heading to Cutler’s Cookies and Sandwiches on Hillfield Road in Layton for a scrumptious lunch and to-die-for cookies, you’re in for a surprise:
Cutler’s Cookies and Sandwiches has moved from Hillfield Road in Layton to 1290 E Highway 193, near the WalMart Neighborhood Market. Cutler’s in Centerville and Bountiful will stay where they are now.
The popular Layton eatery had phenomenal growth a few years ago, due in part to regular diners from Hill Air Force base, requiring them to expand to the Hillfield Road location.
This new move to Highway 193 will make Cutler’s even handier for folks at Hill Air Force Base and will easily accommodate other locals who just can’t get enough of Cutler’s fresh, homemade food. Quality is important to owners Matt and Sherry Cutler, who do much of the baking and cooking themselves.
The drive-through lane at the new location will soon be under construction; in the meantime, you can still get the best sandwiches, soups–and cookies, of course!–in Layton, inside the restaurant, just like before. And, yes, I tried it. The broccoli cheese soup and the lemon meltaway cookie I had today were absolutely delicious.
With Matt and Sherry Cutler in charge, the great food is no surprise at all.
