Community invited to Reno Police Night at Greater Nevada Field

Reno NevadaReno, Nevada (June 19, 2017) — The community is invited to join the Reno Police Department (RPD) at Greater Nevada Field for Reno Police Night at the Reno 1868 FC’s match against Phoenix Rising FC on June 30, 2017. The match begins at 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6:30 p.m.

The event is meant to recognize the hard work and dedication to service that the men and women of the Reno Police Department provide to the community. The Reno Police Department will also showcase their annual report, which includes information about the department and annual crime statistics.

Before the match, the community can enjoy a meet & greet with the men and women of the Reno Police Department in the plaza in front of Greater Nevada Field. There will be SWAT vehicles, K-9 units, patrol cars, trucks and motorcycles parked outside the stadium.

 Community invited to Reno Police Night at Greater Nevada FieldReno Police Chief Jason Soto will do the coin toss before the game to determine which goal the winner of the coin toss will attack in the first half of the match. He will also deliver an on-field speech officially releasing RPD’s annual report to the community.
