Closing Reception for Trees

Sunday, August 13th 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Albuquerque New Mexico Parks and RecreationJoin us under a canopy of stunning paintings, prints, and drawings by the artist
collective Scribes8. Meet the artists and discover the muse and meaning behind
their recent work focused around trees.

For over 25 years, the Scribes8 have been gathering under a giant cottonwood in the
North Valley, sharing best practices, food, and life stories. See some of their
collaborations along the walls of the peaceful Visitor Center—a worthwhile
destination in itself.

This is the last chance to view this exhibit that celebrates in many creative ways the joy trees provide to people and animals.
After meeting the artists, you will have one last chance to purchase an affordable print or painting to brighten your home
with tree art.
Proceeds of gallery sales support the Open Space Alliance and Tree New Mexico’s restoration, public education and
advocacy efforts! Find out more about their important work at www.treenm.com & www.openspacealliance.org
