Civil War Buff Will Speak at Eureka Historical Society Meeting Feb. 6

Guest speaker John Nischwitz, a self-proclaimed Civil War junkie, will address Eureka Historical Society members on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.

The meeting will occur at the Eureka Fire Protection District’s station No. 1, located at 4849 Highway 109. Visitors can enter the station through the back door to the conference/meeting room.

Nischwitz has written a book on Civil War trivia that spans a number of years.

“He is very interesting to talk to and I’m looking forward for his visit,” said Bryan Kiefer, president of the historical society.
