City, U.S. Senior Open staff to host community meeting Monday

Meeting will focus on general event information, road closures and traffic impacts

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The public is invited to attend a community meeting Monday (June 11) at 6:30 p.m. in The Broadmoor’s Rocky Mountain Ballroom to learn about the upcoming U.S. Senior Open Championship, which will be played June 25-July 1 on The Broadmoor’s East Course. The meeting, featuring Colorado Springs Deputy Chief of Staff Bret Waters, U.S. Senior Open Executive Director Doug Habgood and the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Sergeant Mark Chacon, will discuss general event information, road closures and traffic impacts.

A list of road closures is available at coloradosprings.gov and more information on the U.S. Senior Open can be found at ussenioropen.com.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, this meeting will be held in a wheelchair accessible location. Anyone requiring an auxiliary aid to participate should make a request no later than June 7 at 5 p.m. to Tobi Blanchard at oem or (719) 385-5957.

Where: The Broadmoor (Rocky Mountain Ballroom), 1 Lake Ave., Colorado Springs. Parking is located at Broadmoor West. Utilize the valet service or self-park in the garage.
