Reno NevadaReno, Nevada (April 25, 2017) — On Friday, April 28, 2017, the City of Reno will commemorate Arbor Day 2017 and the City’s 35th year as a Tree City USA with a proclamation and ceremonial tree planting at Stewart Park at noon.

During this special occasion, the City of Reno will also update the community about the ReLEAF Reno initiative aimed at increasing the number of trees in our city, and announce plans to expand the program this coming fall.

Planting trees around the City of Reno supports beautification efforts, helps support economic development, fights blight and addresses sustainability issues.
