FLAGSTAFF, AZ – City Hall offices at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day. City Hall offices will be open on Monday, July 3 with regular hours and re-open on Wednesday, July 5 with regular hours of 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Due to the holiday, the Tuesday City Council meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 and located at Coconino County Board of Supervisors Chambers (219 E. Cherry Ave.) with live streaming available at http://www.coconino.az.gov/1589/BOS-Video-Stream. The City Council will start the summer recess following this meeting and council meetings will resume on Tuesday, August 15 at City Hall.
City of Flagstaff facilities that are also closed Independence Day include:
- East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.)
- Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
- Jay Lively Ice Arena (1650 N. Turquoise Dr.)
- Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)
- Hal Jensen Recreation Center (2403 N. Izabel St.)
The Aquaplex (1702 N. 4th St.) will close early at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 3 and be open on Independence Day with special holiday hours from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Trash and recycling collection, along with landfill, will be on a regular schedule.
As a reminder the City of Flagstaff is currently under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions and the sale or use of consumer grade fireworks within the City is prohibited.
