In an email message sent to parents today, Central Davis Junior High’s Principal David Tanner said the following about the start of construction at the school and about additional high school credit:
“Parents, our construction to our school begins this week. We will keep you and your children posted on updates as they happen. This will be performed in three phases and the first phase is scheduled to be completed around Spring Break and will include our new cafeteria/commons area. We will post the architects rendition of the project, up-to-date photos, and post of everything on our school web page soon.
I have received permission from the district to allow our 9th grade students an additional .50 elective high school credit. All students who pass the Central Time class will receive .25 credits and and additional .25 credits for completing a Service Learning Project. Simply have your child go to our school web page at www.davis.k12.ut.us/408 and on the top left will be a Service Learning link. Your child can print out and complete the packet. With all of the service your children are doing, this will make a great way to earn an additional .25 credits. If your child has any questions, have them email me.
Thank you and have a great weekend.”
