The Central City Alliance and the City of Fort Lauderdale invite you to join us for the 13th Street Reimagined Celebration on Saturday, October 21 from 3 to 8 p.m. on N.E. 13th Street between N.E. 6th Avenue and N.E. 8th Avenue.
The event will celebrate the completion of the N.E. 13th Street Complete Streets project, which features lane reductions, new bike lanes, enhanced crosswalks, pedestrian scale street lights, on-street parking, landscaping and ADA Improvements, all in an effort to improve safety, enhance connectivity, and create a safe, accessible, and healthy street environment for all users including pedestrians, bicyclists, mass transit users, and motorists.
3 p.m. – Annual Funky Fun Run from Middle River Terrace Park
4 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Old Dixie Highway/N.E. 13th Street, followed by a pet parade
5 p.m. – Street festival with live music from healiner Blues Risers, plus art, food vendors, and family activities
7:30 p.m. – Unity Beacon Lighting Ceremony at Old Dixie highway/N.E. 13th Street
