Castle Rock Police investigates break-ins. Here’s how to keep your car safe

Castle Rock Colorado News and InformationThe Castle Rock Police Department is today asking for the public’s help and diligence as officers investigate a series of break-ins that happened early this morning in The Meadows.


Around 3 a.m. this morning, Castle Rock Police responded to a call of a possible trespass along Springbriar Drive in The Meadows. When officers arrived, the suspects fled in a stolen vehicle. After a short pursuit, officers stopped following to protect public safety.


The driver was described as a black male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, thin build, and wearing a dark-colored hoodie. There was also a passenger, who was also described as a black male. The suspects were last seen driving a maroon 2012 Cadillac SRX with Colorado license plates QMU701. The vehicle was stolen from unincorporated Douglas County several days ago.

Anyone with information can call Castle Rock Police at 303-663-6100. While the investigation is still on-going, officers believe the suspects were involved in as many as 19 car break-ins throughout the neighborhood.
