Carolina Brotherhood Ride With Police Officers and Firefighters

WILMINGTON, NC- On July 9th, 2018, twenty-nine firefighters, police officers and emergency personnel from all over the Carolinas will meet in Moncks Corner, SC to begin the 2018 Carolina Brotherhood ride in an effort to build awareness and appreciation of the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in the line of duty. The mission of the Carolina Brotherhood is to “provide emotional and financial support for the families” of these extraordinary individuals from the Carolinas, who made the ultimate sacrifice. The Carolina Brotherhood ride was established in 2012 and this year’s ride will take the cyclists almost 600 miles in just five days. The Wilmington Fire Department is proud to announce that Deputy Chief Steve Mason and Master Firefighter Patrick Farwell will be two of the 29 cyclists taking part in this incredible event.
