I had the opportunity to visit the Cache Valley Home and Garden Show held on Friday and Saturday. I go to see what is new and meet friends from around the valley. I usually try to go fairly early so that I miss the crowds and have a chance to talk with people without feeling rushed.
This year, when I arrived, the parking lot was full and cars were lining the streets. I thought this was little strange considering the show had just opened about an hour earlier. At the entrance of the Eccles Ice Center, there are businesses right from the outset. The list of businesses has been growing each year and there are many that keep returning. That is a good sign.
The good weather may have helped bring a crowd in (especially, after such a long drawn out cold winter), but for whatever reason, the crowd was there. With all types of businesses represented to help you with your home and garden, most everyone should have found someone, or something, to help them out. Every item from landscaping products to garage doors to floor coverings was represented. I was planning on only staying for 30 minutes or so, but ended up staying for nearly two hours.
The Cache Valley Media Group did a great job with the Cache Valley Home and Garden show this year at the Eccles Ice Center. I hope everyone who attended had a successful time at the show. By the views of the parking lot, there should have been tons of people to talk with.
