For the past two years author of The Love Yourself Dare, Jennifer Griffiths Manges, has been sharing an important message about Loving Yourself, and she is not about to stop. ??ª?I recently found out that a bright, beautiful and well-loved student at my daughter??ª?s high school committed suicide,??ª? says Jennifer. ??ª?No girl should ever have to feel so low that she takes her own life??ª?. Women, and especially young women, are suffering behind false smiles. Education and training in self-worth, true beauty, positive self-talk and beliefs combined with love and real concern can give girls and women the hope they need to keep moving forward through the tough times.
Jennifer is no stranger to self-loathing and deep personal challenge. After a long relationship that devastated her self-esteem she climbed through the trenches of healing to win the title of Ms. Utah US Continental in 2011. Because her story impacted so many girls and women around the state, Jennifer wants to take her message national by competing for Mrs. Utah, and potentially Mrs. America. ??ª?It is so important for girls to have a strong sense of self-worth and understand that they are beautiful.??ª?
The message of self-worth and true beauty is on the rise and Jennifer has garnered support from business owners in Utah and around the county to help spread this important message. Trainers, coaches, mentors, musicians, artist, practitioners, etc.??ª?have generously donated time, services and products to an online silent auction to help empower women and girls to Love Themselves. This is your opportunity to get products and services at a price YOU want to pay while simultaneously supporting a much needed message! The auction will run Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1, 2013 at www.32auctions.com/iambeautiful.
Proceeds from the auction support Jennifer as she competes for Mrs. Utah America June 22, 2013 at Peery??ª?s Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Utah. To find out more about Jennifer or The Love Yourself Dare, visit www.theloveyourselfdare.com.
