The Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce has recognized the outstanding leadership of a City of Pocatello Sanitation Department employee.
Wednesday, at the chamber’s annual dinner and awards banquet, Recycling Coordinator Debbie Brady was honored with the Minnie Howard Award. Named for Dr. Minnie Howard, the award recognizes a local woman “for her outstanding contributions to her profession, the community and to the leadership exemplified for other women.”

“Debbie is a vital to our department,” said Arlyn Rasmussen, Sanitation Department Superintendent. “She has been integral to the success of our recycling, leaf-collection, and yard waste programs.”
“This award means a lot to me and I am so grateful to have even been considered,” said Brady. “I’m proud to be part of a community that is supportive of our programs and help to make my job so rewarding.”
Brady has worked for the City of Pocatello for 26 years.
