Before You Vote Read This ???????? 5,000 Year Leap

In my last article I mentioned the five ideals America was founded on. Four of the five have been lost and forgotten. One is grossly misunderstood. They are:
1. Freedom
2. Georgics
3. Providence
4. Liber
5. Public Virtue
Read about them here it is an interesting topic in itself.

Cleon Skousen, in his book, 5,000 Year Leap explains the 28 principles of Freedom as the Founding Fathers understood them. Our Founding Fathers studies long and hard what worked in government and what had failed. Our arrogance has led us away from those principles (see the Tytler Cycle).

An example from the 5,000 Year Leap, ??????A free people cannot survive under a republican constitution unless they remain virtuous and morally strong.?????? All to many of us negate this principle in the name of ??????fairness.??????

Nowhere in history, outside of the demented principles found in Communism/Socialism and the like isms is ??????fairness?????? a valid concept. The Bill of Rights says we are created equal not that we should create equal outcomes for individuals. That has never worked! If it has, show me where it has. It is a unattainable ideal.

I recommend that you read the 5,000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen so you can first hear in their own words the thoughts of the founding fathers. Since most of what we know is someone????????s opinion of what the Founding Fathers said it would be worth reading what they said.

Other books on the list that I will be discussing are:
Animal Farm by George Orwell
5,000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen
The Bridge At Andau by James Michener
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
