A Touch of Thai in Salt Lake City

I have an opportunity to visit Salt Lake City very so often. And, while there, the opportunity arises to eat at restaurants that I don????????t normally get in my home town. Salt Lake City is quite a bit larger than where I live, so the options are much greater.

Many times, the direction I go is for the ethnic foods. One of the eateries that I found (with the help of my son) is Sawadee Thai Restaurant just off the Avenues of Salt Lake and a short drive from the downtown area.

When you drive up to Sawadee Thai Restaurant, the first thing that you will notice is that the building is very well kept with a small garden area street side. Parking is right next to the building and pretty good for the area.

Inside Sawadee, there are two open rooms with tables for seating. Service is quick and efficient. Menu items are familiar with shrimp, chicken, pad thai, curry, beef, etc. One of the nice things that Suwadee has is a lunch menu with a nice price which includes a salad and a main course.

Often I will order the Panang Curry and the Thai Red Curry. The food is brought out quickly with rice. It tastes fresh. Service is quick and the atmosphere is pleasant for a business lunch, or just a nice place to get away from the ordinary.

Would I go to Sawadee again? I have several times.
