A new way to pay for meter parking in Fort Worth’s West Seventh district

On-street mobile payment for parking has been expanded to meters in the West Seventh Street entertainment district.

Customers using the FW PARK app can pay for parking with their smartphones using the free mobile application for iPhone and Android. Additionally, Parkmobile customers from other cities can pay for parking in Fort Worth using a current Parkmobile account. A toll-free number is also posted on signage for those without a smartphone to make on-street payments.

Once registered, parkers can immediately begin using the app with their registered mobile device or call the toll-free number to pay for parking. Enforcement officers will be able to see that a motorist has paid with FW PARK using their wireless handheld devices, so customers should not worry when the meter does not change. Mobile app users may also choose to receive alerts and reminders 15 minutes before their parking session expires.
