One thing that hurts the value of property is the cost of Property Taxes. Not only does it hurt the value of property, it threatens the property rights that used to be associated with that property. Property tax demands payments. If the payments are not made, the property can be confiscated by the state.
What if there were no property tax? What would that do for you? What would it hurt? How would the things that property tax funds today be paid for? How would education funding be effected? (see: https://www.area-info.net/articles/show.php?cty=Salt%20Lake%20City&st=Utah&article_id=1079)
Heroic North Dakota citizens have asked these questions and many more about property taxes. See this short YouTube video: />

The brave and visionary people involved in this movement in North Dakota have also written a book on this subject that answers the questions that arise in this debate. It is a short and simple read that every property owner should take an interest in. The book is entitled: “The Property Tax Revolution” and can be purchased here: http://empowerthetaxpayer.org/main/ for $10.00.
This idea is opposed by many special interest groups that, using the tyrannical force of government, force large amounts of money from property owners. Property owners are under siege by continuously escalating property taxes. Property ownership is ever more threatened by these onerous taxes. It’s time to fight back.
