9th Annual Amazing Earthfest

At the heart of the Golden Circle of National Parks of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona, a unique week of adventure.
Kanab, UT – Southern Utah's 9th annual Amazing Earthfest, celebrating the Golden Circle of National and State Parks, Forests, Monuments and Public Lands of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. A week of outdoor adventure and fun, plus art and music, science, history, and famous cultural exhibits.
WHEN: May 10th to 16th, 2015. Come for a day or come for the week. (Some people stay forever!)
WHERE: Kanab, Utah, and its glorious red-rock canyon lands. (Easily accessible from Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.)
WHO: Everyone. Amazing Earthfest is for individuals, families, groups. And most events are free.
THINGS TO DO: Join one of the daily guided hiking, biking or ATV trips to natural wonders and ancient cultures • Visit a dinosaur track site • Explore Native American culture • See the sites of some of the most famous Western movies like The Lone Ranger and How the West Was Won • Relax at a concert or watch a film about the land and its people • Gaze at the deep night sky and learn about our place in the cosmos.
You're at the heart of the Golden Circle, less than an hour from some of the most dazzling national parks in the country: Zion and Bryce Canyons, the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Glen Canyon. And just a few minutes from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where you can take a tour of the nation's largest sanctuary for companion animals, home to the NatGeo TV series Dogtown.
Kane County and its Amazing Earthfest were featured in National Geographic Traveler Online 2014 as one of its Top Ten Best Spring Trips.
Amazing Earthfest, an annual public festival in Kanab, Utah, inspires and educates residents and visitors to value stewardship of natural and cultural resources on America’s public lands, and to explore responsibility to present and future generations.
