LAS VEGAS – The sixth annual Committed to Our Business Community (CTOBC) supplier event will feature many opportunities for small business owners to help grow their business and secure contracts with public agencies and private industries. Building knowledge, resources and connections are just a few of the advantages of participating in this jam-packed event.
The special networking event will take place on Thursday, September 7, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall. Hosted by the Regional Business Development Advisory Council (RBDAC), CTOBC will feature over 60 exhibitors, representing government agencies and the hospitality industry, local business resources and more. They will be on hand to meet small business owners and share tips on how to secure business with their agencies.
“The Regional Business Development Council is pleased to bring the sixth annual Committed to Our Business Community 2017 to the Las Vegas Valley to assist our local businesses in making hundreds of contacts with government agencies, small business resource groups and networking with attendees. Our community’s growth and success relies on these local businesses. We hope that the local business community will continue to participate in this free event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.” Penny Marchell, RBDAC Vice President.
In addition to the government entities and large corporation buyers with their exhibits, CTOBC will present a plethora of resource companies in a “sit down and network” fashion amidst the exhibitors. Information on Nevada Gov eMarketplace (NGEM), the online database and bidding portal which allows contractors and suppliers to register in one central location to receive requests for bids or proposals from all participating government entities, will also be on display for those with questions on how to use the system.
RBDAC is proud to partner with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the City of Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport, Clark County, the Las Vegas Valley Water District, State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Clark County School District, I Heart Las Vegas, Freeman, Jadon Foods, Always Entertaining and Cox Business to host Committed to Our Business Community.
