32nd Annual International Coastal Cleanup Set for October 7th

Volunteer for the 32nd Annual International Coastal Cleanup  which will take place on Saturday, October 7 from 9 a.m. until noon.
 City of Fort Lauderdale Locations
  • Oakland Park Boulevard – Sign in at Earl Lifshey Ocean Park located at the end of Oakland Park Boulevard, east of A1A. Limited parking is available at the lot on the S.E. corner of A1A and Oakland Park Boulevard.
  • Hugh Taylor Birch State Park – When you arrive at the gate, inform park personnel you are participating in the Coastal Cleanup. Sign in near the tunnel entrance to the beach. Walk into the pavilion and the sign-in table is to your right.
  • Fort Lauderdale Beach – Registration is at South Beach Park, at the picnic tables north of the restrooms. Parking passes are available at the registration table for parking only at the Intracoastal Lot (S. Birch Road and Las Olas Boulevard).
The Cleanup, sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy, takes place in more than 104 countries around the world.
