21" MAIN BREAK CAUSES SANITARY SEWAGE OVERFLOW

Austin Water crews are responding to a 21″ wastewater main break and sanitary sewage overflow at 10801 Sierra Oaks. An overflow exceeding 100,000 gallons of wastewater has flowed into a tributary of Bull Creek.

The overflow was discovered at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019. Crews are onsite bypass pumping and completing repairs, clean up and recovery.
