March 17, 2017 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Work has resumed on I‑80 from the west junction of US-77,
Reference Post 396+82 to I-180 in Lincoln, Reference Post 400+89 to seal transverse and longitudinal
joints, which prevents entry of moisture and debris, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Chester Bross Construction Company/C.B. Equipment, Inc. of Hannibal, Missouri has the $526,472
contract. During construction, lane closures will be in place and ramps will be affected. The project is
anticipated to be completed May of 2017.
The Department of Roads’ manager for this project is Dewaine Knutson of Lincoln. Motorists are urged
to use caution when driving through construction zones.
