Dallas – Love Field has been named a 2016 TripAdvisor® Travelers’ Choice Favorite for U.S. Airports for dining. More than 114,000 TripAdvisor travelers were surveyed and judged Love Field to be one of the best airports for dining in the country. For more information on the awards click here.
“We have been working for the past several years to transform the usually routine airport experience into one that not just gets you where you’re going, but enhances the trip as a whole,” Director of Aviation Mark Duebner says. “Several major renovation projects include a 20-gate concourse, larger baggage claim area and additional shops and restaurants. We are glad to see travelers are noticing and taking advantage of all the excellent dining options at Love Field.”
Restaurants at the airport range from quick bites to more leisurely dining with full-course meals and beverages. Love Field has 20 different restaurants with some, such as Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and Baskin Robbins having two locations each.
“A traveler’s experience at an airport is a critical component of the trip – it sets the mood for the beginning or ending,” said Bryan Saltzburg, senior vice president and general manager for TripAdvisor’s global flights business. “From major travel hubs to smaller airports, these Travelers’ Choice award-winners earn high marks from the TripAdvisor community.”
